PROJECT DETAILS: 15 unit + 1 commercial in the heart of Fishtown. PCG’s second flatiron construction project, the Fishtown Flatiron. The building was designed by Ambit Architecture and is largely inspired by Kensington High School, a historic Philadelphia school located just blocks away. The Fishtown Flatiron, built by GRIT Construction, will offer a blend of industrial and Tudor revival stylistic elements.
In a city largely defined by a gridlike structure, the Fishtown Flatiron is located in a unique convergence of five points. The triangular lot is bounded by the charming cobblestone juncture of Frankford and Trenton Ave at the intersection of York St forming the unique lot which is further accented by a newly built roundabout.
The building will consist of 15 beautifully styled and finished residential apartments along with 2,350 sqft of street-level commercial space.
